So be warned.
Anyways, I was chosen to go to the second round at ScrapArtist. Uh, can anyone say "WICKED?"
I'm absolutely on the floor, for real man.
Anyway, just cause I'm all in the second round and all DOESN'T mean you don't get a lovely freebie today.
So I gave my mom my blog address so she could check out some of my freebies and use them for scrapping projects and so forth.
She checks everyday (yo mom) and said that she loves the designs so I thought, cool.
She showed me something she made from one of them and to my astonishment, it was the preview.
I didn't say anything at the time, but she mentioned it today on the phone and I said "Uh, that's what I wanted to talk to you about, um, there is a link at the bottom of my post and you can get all the papers and stuff and full resolution."
Well, she was pretty stoked naturally. After all, it's tough to make cool stuff out of a preview that's, well, really small. And 72 dpi and has a headline on it and now a stamp thingy too.
So mom, don't forget LINK down there, bottom of ye olde post.
Anyway, I have to help out at Max and Danny's school in about 30 minutes. I have to put kiddos to bed. Yesterday I was on fire I tell ya! I put at least three kiddos to bed, plus rocked a baby. It was cool, I haven't held a baby forever.
When I put her down I still had that "baby smell" on my arms. Makes me want to procreate again, I tell you. But then I remember that my boys drive me absolutely out of my mind and I rethink the whole thing. After all, when you are babysitting of whatever, you can give the kid back to the parents.
Speaking of parents, here is an LO I made a long time ago of my parents and me. I'm the baby. I know, that was not necessary to tell you that.
That was back when I had natural red hair. Sigh.
I went back to my natural color recently, it's kind of a "dirty blonde." Interesting name, huh? Anyway, I've never liked the color and used to dye my hair several different colors. No, not like punk or anything, just red one day, brown the next. I always wanted to be a brunette, but no such luck.
Once in my frenzy, I accidentally dyed my hair green. Needless to say I had to visit the salon the next day. I snuck in donning a hat and unveiled my mistake. The stylist laughed.
That's the story of my life. I've shaved off my eyebrows in attempt to make them look like Drew Barrymore's (had to use a pencil after that for about a month) . I've cut too much off my bangs and walked around looking like Emo Phillips, I've snipped off too much of hair and had a hair emergency at 8 p.m. when I had a job interview the next day.
So many stories. Maybe some day I will tell you all of them, but for now, here's your freebie.
It's called "Painted Love." Enjoy! Also I have a new e-mail if anyone wants to drop me a line: firstname.lastname@example.org.
