The rain, the park and other things

I have had a really loooooong day today.
I'm am tired, I woke up at about 5 a.m. and have been on the move ever since.
I'm zapped.
I can't think of enough adjectives to descibe my long day or my state of being right now.
So I turn to my blog and your freebie for comfort.
But first, if you will kindly look over that way you will see my new kit, I haven't put it in the store yet but it's coming. It's called "Calling All Girly Girls." It was named by Amy and I think the name is smashing baby (said in Austin Powers voice). I worked really hard on all the little pretties. My favorite piece is the cameo.
I may actually do a page with this kit. It would have to be a page about me, though, since this house is full of men and other things.
That's something I haven't done for a long time, a digi scrap page. An honest to goodness digi scrap page. I went to a crop on Friday night at a friend's house, I was hangin' with the paper set, yo. That was fun. I got a couple of pages done for Max's album. But mostly the hostess and I gossiped (see told ya I was bad) about a mutual friend of ours who is going through a nasty divorce. I feel awful for my friend. Her boys are the same age as mine and I know they would be devastated by a divorce. I've been praying for her everyday, but I don't have the guts to call her.
I wish I could be a little more brave. But I'm afraid she'll not welcome conversation. I haven't talked to her since before this whole thing started.
Anyway, I got off on something else, sorry, I'm completely depleted. Wretched, downtrodden. And No. 14 or something on the top digi blogs. I'm slipping. I'm just like Bon Jovi.
Anyway, here's your freebie for today, ENJOY and leave the love, I need it!!!

Stephanie, call your friend and just tell her you've been thinking about her. This could open the door, and you may get your wish to visit with her and support her. If not, oh well - but you did open that door. By now you should know you're 'da bomb', and don't need me to tell ya (but you are). BTW, your "Calling All Girly Girls." looks marvelous! Thanks for all your goodies.

Yes, give your friend a call. She needs to know her friends will be there for her.

I ditto "ila"'s comment
... your da bomb!
... difficult to know what to do... give her a call and open the door... go with the flow. Sometimes we shut down and just need a call from someone we haven't talked to in a while.

Girly Girl, ME WANTS, me gets what I want. I am an only child, don't you get that?

By the way all, not being mean, I'am a friend of Stephs and we have a really weird sense of humor :)

Thanks for the link to your kit. If you feel uncomfortable calling her pick up a "I'm thinking about you card" or something like that. I like cards in particular over actual conversations, especially when you don't know what to say.

Thank you Stephanie! :) I love the papers! I wish I knew how to make those cool knotted ribbons!

Hey Joann, it's easy! Go to Gotta Pixel, there's a tutorial there!
