It's rough out there

My poor little lady. I got home from work on Friday and went out onto my deck to watch my little boys playing on the swings below while their dad tore up our screened in porch (long story).
Anyway, my little grey Kitty Bobo followed me out, and I let her because I've let the cats play on the deck before with no trouble. I usually let them back in about a second later anyway. She was sniffing around and seemed to be enjoying herself.
My boys yelled up at me to come down to watch them swing, so I left without another thought.
While in the back yard, we decided to go out to dinner, so we came in, got ready and away we went.
We stopped at a store afterward and came home rather late.
We all got ready for bed, well except me of course, I'm a night owl, we all know that.
I designed for awhile and thought I heard the faintest meow. Thinking it was my other cat, Pywacket, who never shuts up, I went back to doing what I was doing.
The wind blew and the rain fell.
We heard trees blowing and the howl of a big storm.
I went to sleep hearing these noises and slept like a baby.
________

The next morning, I gave the cats some water and realized that I hadn't seen Kitty Bobo since I woke up. Usually she beats me into the bathroom to get a little hit of water off of the faucet, but not today.
"Max, where's Kitty Bobo?"
"Dunno," he answered while concentrating on his video game.
Then all of the sudden, it hit me. Like a ton of bricks.
I ran for the deck, hoping she would still be there.
I opened the sliding door not knowing what the other side held for me.
Pywacket followed me as if to tell me where her friend was. She could have told me before that moment.
"Kitty Bobo?" I called timidly after going out onto the deck. Then I saw her, she was huddled in the corner, alive and well.
"Oh, poor baby!" I said, I picked her up and brought her in. She meowed loudly for about an hour after being safe inside, as if cussing me out. I probably deserved it.
I'm sure she told Pywacket of her experience. "Don't go out on the deck, man. It's rough out there. I've seen things I never thought I'd see ... like stars."

Anyway here is your freebie for today. It's called Time Has Come Today. N-JOY!
