A shocking case

Sorry I haven't posted anything ... I've been reading up on the JonBenet case.
Wow. It's amazing that a murderer has shown himself this late in the game.
I read about JonBenet in the paper in 1996. I was horrified but at the time I didn't have children so the full impact of such a sordid case didn't hit me.
I was still living in my small hometown, I moved to the "big city" in late '97.
The reason I was even reading the paper was because I was searching for jobs to take me out of my town.
Later, I began seeing the tiny blonde-haired beauty grace the covers of People, Time and various other magazines at the grocery store. I was intrigued and read as much as I could.
I had forgotten about all of it, until yesterday.
I'm still in shock.
I saw a documentary about the Ramseys about five or six years ago.
I was totally convinced of their innocence. I think I was only one.
I'm glad to see that they might finally be vindicated. Imagine the private hell that they have gone through, not only losing a beloved little girl, but also thought to be her killers. I can't imagine what that would be like. And now Patsy is dead so she will never feel the full vindication due her. Hopefully she was able to forgive those who but her under the "umbrella of suspicion."
But honestly, I don't know if I could.
JonBenet would be 16 now. I'm sure she would have been stunningly pretty.
Now we have an identity of the man who may have taken that precious life.

Here's your freebie, it's an older freebie but I'm reposting so those who didn't get it can have a chance. Here's a preview of it: http://i64.photobucket.com/albums/h186/sogren/PREVIEW.jpg
http://www.sendspace.com/file/lfrxwc Also, no porn on there today!
Never fear, though soon I will have Luckybug hosting my freebies so we won't have to worry about bad things getting in there anymore. ;)

Thank you for the freebie.

I am with you on your sentiments concerning the Bonets. It is wonderful that their innocence is being vindicated.

I wonder if all these media people who were more than happy to be judge and jury will apologise or even be sorry for how they treated the Bonets. Probably not.

One thing we can be glad about is that Patsy is now is heaven with her daughter. The wonderful hope that we have through Jesus Christ

Steph,

You could NOT BE MORE CORRECT! I knew they didn't do it from the start. Check the news out now, it is pissing me off. The guy who did it, confessed on camera, and now all the 'experts' are saying because he confessed it is not the killer? HUH? No offence, American is insane... or perhaps it is just your news. I am MAD, a guy said he did it on camera... now because he said that... he is not the one. Could it be that it is a release for him to get this out after 10 years??? I am about to go through the TV, I need to stay away from this case, because I am SO ANGRY!

I agree with PLP. It's a blessing that we someday get to be with our loved ones in God's kingdom, rather than on Earth, where life gets scarier and scarier each day.

Thanks for reposting this freebie, Stephanie - I wasn't in the digiscrapping world the first time around.

Hi!

I too am wondering about how the case will unfold. I hope they do get the right person and put them away forever! Anyway, on a happier note, thank you so much for the kit! I love the brassy elements!

I'm going to wait and see what forensics comes up with before I believe this guy is guilty. I don't care if he confessed--some crazy people would do that for attention. Only DNA and other evidence will tell the truth. And we have so many more advances than 10 years ago. It's just sad, though, that Patsy did not live to see this truth, no matter what it may be.
